Videotaping on location in St Louis
Packing the studio to go on a shoot. We try to bring a duplicate of everything, yes a backup camera also. A lamp bulb might need replacing and you’ll have a backup, but for a camera? You bet, we do. Over the years, we’ve learned to always go prepared and then some. Shooting in cold temperatures can temporarily disrupt the camera, so on this particular shoot, after shooting in the cold storage, we moved the camera to warm up in an ambient room. Earlier in the day we planned to video tape the talking heads first and then gather the b-roll footage in cold storage. We were able to finish the day as planned, the back up camera worked well. From there we went back to the studio and prepared the days shooting clips for post production with the producer and video editor.
